The Self-Assessment tool for SMEs to check their compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) was developed under the SMEDATA project – “Ensuring the Highest Degree of Privacy and Personal Data Protection through Innovative Tools for SMEs and Citizens”
This tool enables SME representatives to assess their readiness as well as the compliance of their personal data processing operations with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The Self-Assessment module is divided into two parts:
– Introductory – contains 7 main questions regarding the material scope of the GDPR, the definition of personal data, the categories of personal data, the personal data processing operations, the grounds for processing and the rights of individuals.
– Main Core – contains 7 questions, the answers to which direct users to more specific tasks that administrators and processors have in connection with the implementation of their obligations under the GDPR.
The information in the Self-Assessment tool is available in Bulgarian, Italian and English.
