On 18 April 2022, a solemn meeting was held in the building of the Union of Lawyers in Bulgaria on the occasion of the Day of the Constitution, the Lawyer and the Court employees. The meeting was opened by Vladislav Slavov, Chairman of the Union. Pavlina Panova, the Chairperson of the Constitutional Court, also delivered a speech. The participants were greeted by Nadejda Yordanova, the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Bulgaria, the Minister of Interior – Boyko Rashkov, the President of the Supreme Administrative Court – Georgi Cholakov and the Bulgarian Ombudsman – Diana Kovacheva.
Lawyers were rewarded with the traditional awards for professional and union activities. The award for „Partner of the Year for 2020 and 2021” was granted to the Commission for Personal Data Protection and received by its Chairman Ventsislav Karadjov.
Ventsislav Karadjov expressed his gratitude for the recognition and said that the successful partnership is the result of the ethical, moral and professional standards that the two organizations share between each other.
