The Chairman of the Commission for Personal Data Protection Ventsislav Karadjov presented for the sixth consecutive year the „Journalism Award” on the occasion of January 28 – the Data Protection Day.
The Commission awarded Dian Bojidarov, journalist of the newspaper „Sega”, for the greatest journalistic contribution during 2021 for promoting the CPDP’s activities and the citizens’ rights to privacy and personal data protection.
The institution thanks Dian Bojidarov and the team of the newspaper „Sega” for the active, objective and well-intentioned coverage of socially important topics related to the activities of the Commission for Personal Data Protection.
The annual „Journalism Award” (CPDP’s diploma and medal) was established on January 28, 2016 and is given for publications, broadcasts and socially significant events of a journalist / media, which regularly covered the activities of the institution in the previous year.
