On 30th April 2010, the National Assembly accepted the Annual Report on the activity of the Commission for Personal Data Protection for 2009. The main features of the report were presented by Valentin Enev – Member of the Commission for Personal Data Protection.
Among the key findings in the report of the parliamentary commission, is that during the accounting period the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection has been functioning at full value and the European standards in the sphere of protection of personal data are being carried out. In the Report is presented the successful performance of the Commission’s activities in the process of preparation of the Republic of Bulgaria for the incorporation in the Schengen Area.
