At the invitation of the Commission for Personal Data Protection on 26.11.2009 was held a meeting with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.
The purpose of the forthcoming event was to be offered practical support in connection with the effective execution of the national personal data protection authority’s supervision powers, set in the provisions the Convention implementing the Schengen Agreement as part of the preparation of the Republic of Bulgaria for accession to the Schnegen area.
The meeting was held at the Commission premises and discussed the practice of the Slovak Office with regard to the performed inspections of data, processed in the Schengen Information System, the cooperation between the personal data protection authorities of the European Union’s Member-States by the data exchange and etc.
