With regard to a Decision of the Commission for Personal Data Protection (Minutes № 4/25.01.2017) an inspection of the data controllers in the field of Healthcare will be carried out as a part of the overall control activity of the supervisory authority for 2017. In addition, the administration of the Ministry of Healthcare will also be a subject to the abovementioned inspection.
The inspection aims at the proper implementation of the requirements in the field of data protection, regarding the activities of the different units in the field of healthcare. On the grounds of the findings, appropriate recommendations will be made to the respective data controllers.
