On July 25, 2018, CPDP adopted criteria and procedures for the approval of Codes of conduct and accreditation of monitoring bodies. It was decided that the administration should immediately start working on the Codes of conduct that have been submitted so far according to the adopted rules and criteria.
On CPDP’s website, under the section "Get informed", a subsection "Codes of Conduct under Regulation (EC) 2016/679" has been created, where "Criteria and Procedures for the Approval, Amendment or Supplementation of a Code of Conduct" are published – HERE.
The criteria and procedures relating to the accreditation of a Code of conduct monitoring body are subject to reconciliation with the European Data Protection Board and will be published in the same section at a later stage.
