On 19th November in Bucharest, Romania a conference about “Direct Marketing and Data Protection” was being held together under the aegis of the Romanian authority for personal data protection and ARMAD / Romanian Association for direct marketing”.
On the behalf of the Bulgarian Data Protection Commission there were two participants in that meeting – Mr Krassimir Dimitrov, member of the CPDP, Ms Desislava Borisova, legal adviser.
There was a fruitful and very beneficial discussion about the legal conditions for direct marketing, processing of personal data and data subjects’ information.
Mr Krassimir Dimitrov made a presentation about the Bulgarian experience in these matters.
