The IV work meeting of a project entitled „Raising awareness of the data protection issues among the employees working in the EU” was held in Prague on 14-15 November 2013. Represenattives from all 4 participating data authorities (Poland, Czech Republic, Croatia, Bulgaria) took part in the event. The Commission for Personal Data Protection was represented by Ms. Mariya Krumova, head of department „Legal opinions and international cooperation” and Mr. Anton Todorov, expert at the „Analysis, training and project management” department.
During the event the parties agreed on the final English version of the project result – a publication named „Privacy protection at the workplace – guide for employees”. Some technical details concerning the font of the publication, the marking of the different sections, the graphic and artistic design of the guidelines were also settled by the partners.
The project is funded by the European Commission, via the „Leonardo da Vinci” programme, which is a part of the „Lifelong learning programme”.
