CPDP has signed a cooperation agreement with Canadian company Nymity Inc. as part of the Commission`s efforts to promote and implement the principle of accountability in the field of data protection and privacy.
Nymity Inc. conducts research in the field of protection of privacy and personal data in the public and private sectors.
Subject of the agreement is providing – for free and for an indefinite period – the use of license for the Nymity Privacy Management Accountability FrameworkTM Toolkit, which consists of various research pieces, guidelines, white papers, and other documents that together constitute a methodology for managing personal data protection by observing the principle of accountability.
The Framework is based on Nymity’s on-going research. The opportunity to conduct training in Bulgaria and update the status of the Framework is foreseen.
