On 15-17 November 2016 the Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP) hosted a working meeting for exchange of experience with the Serbian Commission for Protection of the Access to Public Information and Personal Data. The event is part of the CPDP’s policy to strengthen the institution’s leading role on issues related to the protection of personal data and to support the respective supervisory authorities of the Western Balkans on their way to European integration.
The representatives of the Serbian Commission for Protection of the Access to Public Information and Personal Data were welcomed by the Chairman of CPDP Mr. Ventsislav Karadjov who wished the participants a successful workshop.
During the three-day visit the Serbian representatives had the opportunity to get acquainted with the functions and practice of the CPDP and to exchange experiences with their colleagues working in the field of supervision of data controllers and international affairs.
