The Foundation "Citizens against Bureaucracy" evaluated the work of the Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP) in the sphere of citizens’ support. This year for the first time the Foundation has decided to award annual prizes to public institutions. The award "Best service to citizens" was accepted by the Chairman of the CPDP – Ventsislav Karadjov. The ceremony was also attended by Commissioner Mariya Mateva.
The mission of the Foundation "Citizens against Bureaucracy” is to contribute to the creation and development of well-organized civil society and the creation of free access to accurate and correct public information. Its purpose is to reduce the bureaucratic burden on citizens and businesses.
In its daily work the CPDP seeks to work in the public interest by providing high quality services to citizens and businesses in due time. There are constant efforts to improve the efficiency and quality of work of the employees in the administration in order to achieve better service, adequacy and commitment to the problems of citizens, institutions and businesses.
