The Commission for personal data protection organizes an „Awareness campaign” in four cities in Bulgaria – Plovdiv, Veliko Tarnovo, Varna and Burgas, from February till April 2018. The events aim to achieve a widespread public awareness on all questions linked to the data protection reform in the EU and the new legal framework based on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). They are targeted at the wider audience, data controllers and all other interested persons. In the course of the events, CPDP will present all core elements of the new legal framework and the necessary steps that data controllers need to take in order to introduce the newly adopted data protection standards in their activities.
Schedule for the events:
16 February 2018 г. – Plovdiv – the event is fully booked
6 March 2018 г. – Veliko Tarnovo – the event is fully booked
19 April 2018 г. – Varna
20 April 2018 г. – Burgas
In order to better organize and coordinate the awareness raising events, participation in the latter will be possible only after a preliminary „Registration”, by sending an email to: halaminov@cpdp.bg with information about you and your company.
In view of the great interest, a limit of two representatives per controller is set.
