The Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP) conducted a multiplier event in order to disseminate the results of the project „e-OpenSpace – European Innovative Open Platform for Electronic Networking and Sustainable Provision of Adult Centred Education in Privacy and Personal Data Protection”, funded by the Erasmus + Programme of the European Union. The event was held at InterContinental Hotel Sofia on the 31st of July 2019.
It was opened at 10:00 a.m. by Ms Mariya Mateva, Member of the Board of CPDP and Mr Petyo Kanev, Executive Director of the Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC) – the National Agency of the Republic of Bulgaria for Erasmus + Programme for the period 2014-2020.
The guests of the event had the chance to be acquainted with the intellectual outputs developed under the project. Among some of them are: „Catalog of good practices in the field of non-formal adult education”; „Guidelines for online delivery of non-formal digital data protection learning”; a „Common Curriculum”, including „Open Educational Resources for non-formal digital data protection learning”, as well as a „Methodology for validation of non-formal and informal digital data protection learning”. The e-OpenSpace pilot e-learning and e-cooperation tool has been demonstrated. Its functionality and content create an exclusive opportunity to organise informal digital training in the field of privacy and data protection. The platform is available at: www.eopen.cpdp.bg
The project „e-OpenSpace – European Innovative Open Platform for Electronic Networking and Sustainable Provision of Adult Centred Education in Privacy and Data Protection” with Grant Agreement number: 2017-1-BG01-KA204-036351, funded under Key Action 2: Strategic Partnerships in the field of education, training and youth of the Erasmus + Programme of the European Union, is implemented by the joint partnership efforts of the data protection authorities of Poland and Croatia, the Jagiellonian and Sofia Universities and the Italian NGO GVMAS. The Commission for Personal Data Protection is the project coordinator. The project duration is 2 years and its overall budget is BGN 357719.35 (EUR 182 899).
