The upgrade of both the content and the functionality of the mobile application „GDPR in Your Pocket” continues. Its content is enriched by the national data protection legislation of France and Germany (at federal level), while the application “speaks” five languages with its users.
From the beginning of October, users of the application can choose between Bulgarian, English, German, French and Italian to access the „Legal Library”, „GDPR Dictionary”, „Guide for Citizens”, and „Guide for SMEs” modules.
The „GDPR in Your Pocket” application aims to present the GDPR to citizens and small and medium-sized enterprises in an easy-to-use and understand way and to give them practical knowledge and advice on their rights and obligations in the field of personal data protection. The latest version of the software can be freely downloaded from the Google Play and App Store. Since the release of the beta version of the application in September 2019, there has been significant interest – it has been downloaded more than 5,900 times.
The application is developed under the SMEDATA project. Upgrading continues under the SMEDATA II project.
