Right of access to personal data processed in NSIS from an automated workplace with direct connection (direct access) to NSIS have the users as follows:
1. General Directorate for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Interior;
2. Criminal Police General Directorate of the Ministry of Interior;
3. Security Police General Directorate of the Ministry of Interior;
4. Border Police General Directorate of the Ministry of Interior;
5. Migration Directorate of the Ministry of Interior;
6. Bulgarian Identity Documents Directorate of the Ministry of Interior;
7. International operational cooperation Directorate of the Ministry of Interior;
8. Regional directorates of the Ministry of Interior and CDI;
9. Visa Center in the Consular Relations Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
For the implementation of their statutory duties and tasks, access to personal data in NSIS (indirect access) have the users as follows:
1. The Commission for Personal Data Protection;
2. Judicial system bodies;
3. Ministry of Justice;
4. Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology:
· Executive Agency Maritime Administration;
· Executive Agency Railway Administration;
· General Directorate Civil Aviation Administration;
5. Ministry of Defense – Military Police Service
6. Customs Agency of the Minister of Finance.
Access to these users is gained through a written inquiry to the SIRENE Bureau, which respond to request in writing.
