On May 27th, 2016 43rd National Assembly adopted the Annual Report of the Commission for Personal Data Protection for 2015. It was submitted for voting by the Internal Security and Public Order Parliamentary Committee.
The Parliamentary Committee report referred to the successful implementation of the CPDP tasks on the main directions of its activities in 2015. Special attention was paid to systems providing e-services for citizens and businesses. The report outlines the objectives and priorities for work in 2016, defined in accordance with the new European rules for data protection and synchronization of national legislation concerning public and private sectors, as well as in the sectors "Police" and "Justice". The Parliamentary Committee report focused on continuing efforts in the field of protection of personal data related to Bulgaria`s accession to Schengen.
